Welcome to Burgaw, Pender County seat. Pender County was the last county formed but it will be the first in your heart, come for a visit. Come to Burgaw for a slower pace, stroll among the 100 year old oaks surrounding the court house square have a seat on one of the parks benches and enjoy peace and quite.

Visit the Antique mall, walk into Harrell's Department Store over a 100 years old. You may see a lot of things that look familiar, Burgaw has been the backdrop for a lot of movies. If you get thirsty drop into Dees Drug Store and enjoy a lemonade at the old fashion soda fountain. Turn right at the corner and walk to the Old Depot the oldest in North Carolina and home of our local arts council. Short distance to the Northwest is the first brick build in Burgaw and home of our museum.
