Burgaw Incubator Kitchen

Burgaw Incubator Kitchen (BIK) is a shared-use commercial kitchen facility located in the historic Burgaw Depot. Its mission is to encourage and support the development of a thriving food industry in Pender and surrounding counties by providing commercial kitchen space, business training, regulatory information, and networking opportunities to small, start-up, and expanding food businesses throughout the eight county region. BIK recognizes the historic importance of agriculture to southeastern North Carolina and the value this industry still provides in terms of economic growth, physical health, and food security for the people of our area.

Burgaw Incubator Kitchen envisions an established network of successful food businesses throughout southeastern North Carolina that deliver quality, healthy food products and provide full-time sustainable jobs to the region. We see ourselves as a place where small food businesses can come to get the experience, information, and equipment resources they need so that they can concentrate on producing superior products and becoming financially viable.
