The Town of Burgaw Depot Authority was established to manage and make decisions concerning the Historic Burgaw Depot and the Burgaw Incubator Kitchen. The depot authority will establish rules, regulations and policy for the operation of the depot and kitchen. The Authority is authorized to enter into agreements with outside agencies that are necessary for the operation and maintenance of the depot and kitchen. Members are appointed by the Town of Burgaw Board of Commissioners for a three (3) year term, no member shall be appointed for more than two (2) consecutive terms, no member shall serve for more than a total of nine (9) years. The Depot Authority is a seven (7) member board comprised of the following positions: Town of Burgaw Mayor, Manager, Building Inspector; two members of the Historic Depot Foundation and two citizens.
